Bathroom and vaulted ceiling in Kelly Bray, Cornwall

This project involved work to restore original feature roof trusses in a Cornish cottage and replace the bathroom with attractive heritage pieces more appropriate to the age of the property.

A low ceiling had been added in the bedroom at some stage in the past which had hidden magnificient vaulted wooden roof trusses. By removing the ceiling we re-exposed these stunning original features, adding a height and a sense of space to the room.

At the same time we refitted the bathroom and installed a slipper bath and heritage sanitary ware to further enhance the period features of the property.

The development took 2 months in total to complete.
